Worked with the HR Director and leadership team to reshape HR’s contribution to the business. Over a period of 3 years, the Function has moved from LQ to UQ in comparison with typical HR benchmark data and has reduced costs in excess of 60%. More importantly, the Function has moved from providing essentially operational (case work) and transactional support to managers, to one that is engaged at the heart of significant organisational change.

We have supported this ongoing transformation in a number of ways:

  • coach and facilitator to the HR Director and HR leadership team: provided over a number of years to support the transformation journey from envisioning through several waves of implementation
  • development of a HR capability framework for business partners and specialists
  • delivery of a learning programme to raise partnering capability: delivered through workshops, action centred learning groups and coaching
  • merger integration: integrating two HR functions through a business merger
  • specific reviews in the area evaluating the effectiveness of the learning & development organisation
  • development of a HR shared service centre capability framework
  • development of HR measures
