Mark E. Withers
Chartered Fellow CIPD, MSc, BSc (Econ)

Mark brings to the practice over 27 years business experience – gathered through 19 years in management consultancy and 8 years in line management.

Before founding Mightywaters Consulting in 1998, Mark worked for Price Waterhouse Management Consultants (now IBM Business Services) specialising in Strategic Change and HR consulting. He has lived and worked in the UK, Hungary and Switzerland and has had substantial working experience in the Caribbean and Poland.

Prior to joining Price Waterhouse, Mark headed the HR Function of a Whitbread/Allied Domecq joint venture. Earlier experience was gained in upstream and downstream businesses in Shell. Mark served for 5 years as Board member of Oxford Citizens Housing Association and is Branch Committee member for CIPD Thames Valley Branch.

Mark is a graduate of the London School of Economics, holds a masters degree in organisational behaviour from the University of London (Birkbeck College) and is a Chartered Fellow, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He is an accredited user of a range of psychometric tests (including SHL and MBTI) and is a fluent German speaker.

Mark has recently co-authored a second edition of ‘Transforming HR: Creating Value through People’ (Elsevier: Butterworth Heinemann, 2010).

Anna M. Withers
MSc, BSc (Econ), Dipl. Psy.

Anna brings to the practice over 22 years business experience – gathered through 11 years in investment banking and over 11 years in the field of consulting and counselling.

Anna has held a range of front office roles in investment banking including equity sales, fund management marketing to institutional investors and equities research. Her previous employers included Bank Austria, Daiwa, UBS and Nikko Securities.

Anna focuses on the psychology of work, providing specialist expertise in one-to-one coaching, counselling and in the use and interpretation of psychometric tools.

Anna holds undergraduate and post-degrees from the London School of Economics, an Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching (CIPD) a post graduate Diploma in Psychology (Oxford - Brookes) and Certificate in Psycho-dynamic Counselling (University of Oxford). She is a fluent German, French and Dutch speaker.
